Walmart Grocery App Redesign
Timeline
Research & Discovery
I interviewed four existing customers to understand better the current app and their pain points and needs when they use this product. I also interviewed a new customer, observed how she finish her first shopping on this product. To get more feedback and reviews for the research, I went to App Store to read critique reviews.
After gathering customer feedback on the current product, I tried to organize them into different categories, like UX pain points, features they needed, and requirements. Soon, I found it would be a big scope project if I synthesized all the findings. So, I decided to draw the current app's user flow, focus on the key screen, and solve the problem.
Synthesize
I synthesized my findings into 5 parts based on the main users' flow-search items, view items, add items, check out, and pick up.

Ideate
Based on the established pain points, I sketched multiple options to test and optimize the user experience. After a few rounds of iterations, I came to a good place with the solutions.

Design
Moving forward with the process, I turned my Lo-Fi wireframes into Hi-Fi prototypes. Below are the screen comparison showing before and after side by side.
